"RED RUM"
This book is my personal view as a photographer behind the scenes of a racehorse which maybe should never have raced and a trainer and secondhand car salesman who together won three Grand Nationals, entered racing history, saved Aintree and made Red Rum the greatest racehorse of the 20th century. I took these mostly unseen and unpublished images in 1974.
With Forewords by two great Champion Jockeys, Tommy Stack who rode Red Rum to his third historic Grand National win and Richard Dunwoody who was too young at the time but would later ride the great Desert Orchid and One Man to splendid victories.
